Informatica Administrator


Job Description: Installation/Upgrade, setup, maintenance & troubleshooting of Informatica Software on RHEL UNIX and Oracle/DB2 platform. Daily code migration in development/test/production environments. Development (proof of concept), maintenance & troubleshooting of complex Informatica code. Provide required support to ETL application development/production teams.

Position: FT (Full-time)

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
  • Must have 24 months of experience in information technology related jobs.
  • 2 years of information technology experience must include and may be acquired concurrently with: 6 months of Data Warehouse ETL (Extract Transformation Load), 1 year experience in RHEL UNIX and Oracle/DB2 platform, 1 year Informatica Admin experience using Informatica Integration Products [Informatica Power Center (PWC) and Power Exchange (PWX), Informatica cloud, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Informatica Developer].
  • Must have data modeling experience using Erwin and 1 year of hands-on experience in shell scripting in RHEL/AIX UNIX Platform.
  • Must have strong knowledge/experience in Unix Platform;
  • Hands-on development experience in Oracle/DB2 UDB/SQL-Server DB platform;
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL Server required [hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, tuning and explain plans];
  • Experience with DB2 for mainframe.
  • Good experience/knowledge of data modeling (logical and physical concepts).
  • Experience/Knowledge/Understanding of DW/DI/ETL best practices is required.
  • Experience in python and JavaScript.
  • Works and communicates effectively (both written and oral) across various IT and business teams.
  • Written status and assessment reports is required.
  • Working with Informatica Technical support is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload between various tasks is required.
  • Willingness to support after hours will be necessary as business needs dictate.
  • Strong desire and willingness to support new and/or additional technologies will be necessary as business needs dictate.
